So Thierry, where are you from, and where do you currently live?

I am from Maillane, a small village next to Avignon and Saint Remy De Provence. Basically an hour away from the Vélodrome. I currently live in Brooklyn, NY.

How long have you been President of OMNewYork?

I am the President of OMNY since Mai 2014.

Have you met many Americans who support OM/French Ligue?

I believe I met at least two dozens American OM fans who came to see a game in the bar. The lack of proper broadcasting medias makes it difficult to expand and or follow the team.

What is your favorite OM memory or moment?

My favorite moment was when we won the title in 2010. This was the first time I had experienced this fabulous moment and to celebrate we rented a party bus to go from bar to bar all night.

Who is your favorite OM player (past or present)?

I like André Ayew. He was always very combative and dedicated to the team.

Have you been able to go to le Vélodrome for a game?

Yes, I have been to the Vélodrome on several occasions and it is always very impressive.

How can OM reach out to and gain more support in the USA?

First, the OM headquarters should respond to our demand to help them grow the fan base. Second, BeInSports needs to upgrade their online broadcast system and give more prime time game to Marseille on one of their two TV channels.

Where do you think l’OM will place this year?

I think Marseille could finish 3rd if they start winning at home again.
